Distills and Desalinates

PS100 purifiers distill and purify all types of contaminated water (or other types of fluids): For instance, they can purify tainted home tap water; contaminated or poisoned well water; polluted pond water; desalination of seawater; and/or purification of high concentration salt pond solutions.

Portable

The PS100 systems are practical for both small (and large size) configurations because their patented designs achieve a 10X increase in thermal heat transfer.  Therefore, purifier applications needing or requiring portable systems are feasible (while operating at very low powers) because of their increased thermal efficiency and high processing flow rate.

Self-Cleaning

PS100 systems employ patented self-cleaning features that automatically eliminate fouling and scale buildup so they remain efficient without degradation in performance (unlike Reverse Osmosis and other types of filtration systems, which degrade over time – even after backwash cleaning).

Compact

PS100 systems use compact cylindrical designs for making the purifiers smaller and operate at higher efficiencies. Their patented systems use a nested boiler-condenser that reduces overall size while achieving higher processing flow rates at low powers.
Runs on low power

PS100 systems operate at room temperature boiling (≈ 80 °F) and use (recover) the condensation energy to cause the boiling.  Therefore, nearly all heat energy is recovered (this is not possible with competing home counter top distillation systems).  Also, no heating of the input water to 212 °F is required – this further saves energy.  Systems use a low-pressure-rise blower to drive the process, elevating condensation temperatures about 1 °F to 3 °F.

Solar enabled

PS100 systems operate with low electrical power to drive the motor-blower and thus are practical for being powered by small portable solar panels to operate the purifiers: typical inputs of 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, or 48 Vdc.

No filter

PS100 systems require no filter or any special pre-filtering, unlike Reverse Osmosis (and other filtering systems) that are subject to clogging, are sensitive to input pre-filtering, and are reduced in performance over time.

Removes harmful chemical components

PS100 systems remove 99.9%+ salt ions, heavy metals, arsenic, chemicals & poisons, alkaline/acidic contaminations, and pharmaceutical contaminants that now are being found in water sources – verified by testing.
Removes biological and radiological contaminants

PS100 systems remove all traces of protozoa, microbes, bacteria, and even viruses and pyrogens (which are low molecular weight proteins that produce fever).  They even remove all radiological contaminations – verified by testing.

Continuous water flow
PS100 purifiers are continuous flow distillation systems, unlike typical home counter top units which are batch systems and must be filled frequently. Depending on type and quality of the water coming in to PSI, we can achieve recovery ratios as high as 95%.  This ratio is defined by the ratio of purified fresh output flow rate divided by the input source of flow rate. Other filtration systems, like RO (Reverse Osmosis) typically operate at or below 30% recovery ratio which means 70% or more of water is wasted.
